Canvas Rebel: Meet Alison Chace

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alison Chace. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alison below.

Hi Alison, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

I came up with the name “Pink Kisses” as a reflection of the app’s essence and mission. The word “pink” evokes feelings of warmth, love, and positivity, while “kisses” adds a playful and affectionate touch. Together, they convey the idea of sending sweet, uplifting messages that brighten someone’s day, much like receiving a kiss from a loved one. I wanted a name that not only captures the app’s fun and flirty nature but also resonates with users looking for daily doses of encouragement and joy. Plus, it’s memorable and has a charming quality that invites curiosity!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Hi there! I’m Alison Chace, an entrepreneur and actress with a big passion for spreading positivity and joy. My love for storytelling and connecting with people led me to create Pink Kisses, a fun texting app that sends you delightful messages every day!

So, what exactly is Pink Kisses? It’s your daily dose of happiness delivered straight to your phone! Each day, you can choose to receive uplifting messages that can be affirmations, motivational quotes, humorous texts, acts of daily kindness, or flirty messages. It’s like having a little cheerleader in your pocket, reminding you how wonderful you are and brightening your day in a way that fits your mood!

What really makes Pink Kisses special is how you can personalize your experience. You can pick the type of messages you want to receive and even customize the name of your “Sweetie”—the fun persona sending you these lovely texts. It’s all about making you feel good and giving you that extra boost of positivity!

I’m incredibly proud of the amazing community we’re building with Pink Kisses. So many users have shared how the app has brought joy into their lives, and hearing those stories warms my heart.

For anyone considering joining our Pink Kisses family, I want you to know that this app is all about self-empowerment and joy. Small acts of kindness, like a sweet message, can create big changes in how we feel. I’m thrilled to share this journey with you and inspire a little more love and affection in our everyday lives!

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

My journey in creating Pink Kisses has been deeply influenced by the self-help trailblazers of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, such as Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer, whose teachings emphasize the power of positive thinking and self-acceptance. Hay’s groundbreaking work on affirmations and Dyer’s insights on manifesting one’s desires resonate with the heart of what Pink Kisses embodies. Additionally, figures like Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and Dr. Brené Brown have inspired me with their emphasis on self-love, vulnerability, and spiritual growth.

I also draw inspiration from the wisdom of Buddha, particularly the teaching, “What you think, you become; what you feel, you attract; what you imagine, you create.” This concept underscores the importance of cultivating a positive mindset, as our thoughts shape our realities.

In Pink Kisses, one of the exciting features is the ability to receive daily song lyrics as part of the app’s offerings. Music can uplift our spirits, and these lyrics serve as daily reminders of empowerment and inspiration. Alongside this, I’ve incorporated self-care practices like gratitude journaling and morning meditation into my routine, which allow for reflection and grounding.

Ultimately, the legacy of these influential figures fuels my passion for spreading positivity and connection through Pink Kisses, encouraging everyone to embrace their worth and manifest their dreams.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding part of being an artist or creator is the chance to express my authentic self and share that energy with others. My natural curiosity and fascination with psychology and self-help drive my creativity. I genuinely enjoy helping people and find fulfillment in creating spaces where others can connect and grow.

When inspiration strikes, I’m eager to take those ideas and run with them. I thrive when I can collaborate with others and make a positive impact, whether through my positivity platform Pink Wisdom, my comedy platform The Dinger, or my production company LMC Productions.

While there is a lot of darkness in the world, I see so much light, beauty, and goodness—humanity, nature, and the countless helpers out there. I resonate deeply with the themes of Dr. Fred Rogers, who encouraged us to focus on the positive aspects of life and the importance of kindness.

It’s incredibly gratifying when someone connects with my work and tells me it resonates with them. It reminds me of the power of creativity to inspire and foster community.

The creative process is also an exciting journey. Each project presents a chance for growth and exploration, pushing me to embrace new ideas and challenge myself. Ultimately, being an artist means expressing joy and connection while inviting others to be part of that experience. It’s a rewarding adventure that allows me to be true to myself and make a difference along the way.
