Hellooo from Fame Game!

You know summer is slipping by when you realize that vacation you were so looking forward to taking has already come and gone, and you're starting to look forward to the fall TV lineup! Are you carving out time for beach sunsets and long walks? Better hurry up!

  • Kelly Ripa says her favorite thing about the Hamptons are indeed the sunsets. But sunsets in Bellport, N.Y., are a tad "more real", as explained by Alexandra Lebenthal in a piece on NYC Prep and Nightingale Bamford for New York Social Diary.

  • Mad Men premiered its 3rd season on AMC this past Sunday (2.8 million viewers!). Did you watch it? Project Runway premieres its 6th season on Lifetime on August 20th.

  • Jerry Seinfeld will be Jay Leno's first guest on his new prime time "Jay Leno Show" which premieres on NBC on Sept 14th. Kanye West and Jay-Z also slated to be on the show.

  • Martha Wainwright, last seen at the Watermill Inferno Benefit, delivered another breath-taking performance this past weekend with the dance ensemble Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company on Central Park's Summerstage.

  • Alison Chace has been heating up Plum TV's weekend lineup with the Morning Noon and Night Show. Only a few more weekends to catch it!

  • New York Magazine writes on the breakup of Tinsley and Topper Mortimer: "Tinz & Topp in Tears". Gawker waxes poetic.

  • The US Open is coming soon, and not without its fair share of publicity and drama. Check out today's story on Page Six about Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and make sure to buy your tickets soon!

  • Fabian Basabe had a son?!

Next up on the Hamptons calendar: Friday night's Best Buddies Hamptons Gala: don't forget your cowboy hat, it's a western theme (seems to be a trend). Plus a Tory Burch Shopping Event to benefit Best Buddies. And Riverkeeper's EcoSalon on Saturday night in Watermill. Enjoy!
